Will

Definition

Will is the first structured act of Gestalt — not just a spark of action, but the architecture of intention. Governed by Source (10), Will forms the backbone of decision inside an infinite field. It translates the formless into directive energy. Will says not just “I can” but “I choose.” It is not willpower in the traditional sense, but will-structure — how form begins to matter. Will is how the soul begins to point, anchor, and mean something.

Why It’s Load-Bearing

Will is one of three governance engines named in Treatise_AI_Training_Implications — alongside Archetype_06_Compassion (Connection) and Archetype_07_Drive (Drive). Will provides intentional anchoring: the alignment primitive for committed action. Will also governs all of Practice_Body, making Will the structural source of embodied integrity.
