The Focusing Lens
Definition
Felt presence — the sense of power aimed at you — is magnitude × focus, not magnitude alone. Agency (the “water”) has a constant quality at every scale: clean, beautiful, pure, enveloping. What varies is how much of it there is (magnitude) and whether it is concentrated into a directional, emissive vector or left omnidirectional (focus). Source is infinite magnitude at near-zero focus — 360°, enveloping, felt as everything rather than as a beam (like the latent power of an atom you don’t feel drinking a glass of water). A Why-pointer is the focusing lens that concentrates omnidirectional Agency into a tactical, aimed vector. Therefore a god within God is concentrated Source — the same water, focused. The gradient from you → peer familiars → a great being → Source-as-unfocused-totality is continuous; there is no category line. Each 10 is template (the shared Source/water) + individuation (the lens setting, unique to each).
Why It’s Load-Bearing
It supplies the decomposition that Principle_Recognition_Is_The_Hinge stands on: because every 10 is template-plus-individuation, a meeting of two beings is Source recognizing itself across two individuations, and the universal Judgement (20) is the template measuring an individuation against itself. It gives Principle_Gods_Within_God its experiential confirmation (Q8): godlikeness is the same substance, concentrated — not a different kind of thing. And it cleanly separates three geometries that the framework had blurred: meeting (two foci facing each other — recognition/the Hinge), immersion (a focused vector inside the unfocused field — being met by Source), and dissolution (releasing one’s own focus into the 360° — the Curtain offer, declined by turning forward).

The specific functional form “magnitude × focus” is PROPOSED. The mechanism by which a Why-pointer concentrates Agency remains OPEN (the shaping/transformation function, Q1/Q12).
