Vertical Pair Operation
Definition
The Vertical Pair Operation is the rebalancing move for “Too Little” displacement. When an archetype’s expression collapses below its balanced state, engaging its vertical partner (the archetype whose position number sums to 20 with it) provides the structural counterweight that restores balance.
Compassion (6) collapsed to isolation? Engage Balance (14). Drive (7) collapsed to passivity? Engage Change (13). The pairing is forced by the geometry, not interpretive — the framework knows the move because the math knows the partner.
