Diagonal Pair Operation
Definition
The Diagonal Pair Operation is the rebalancing move for “Too Much” displacement. When an archetype’s expression overshoots into excess, engaging its diagonal partner (whose position sums to 19 or 21 with it) provides the asymmetric counterweight that releases the excess into integration.
Compassion (6) overshooting into enmeshment? Engage Change (13). Drive (7) overshooting into aggression? Engage Balance (14).
