Seam: MOLS / Latin-Square Uniqueness Backbone
Definition
Several facets the corpus names separately are projections of one combinatorial object: the affine plane of order 4, AG(2,4), realized as the manifest 4x4 grid carrying its maximum of three mutually orthogonal Latin squares. Practice and Activity are the two grid axes (the 4+4 partition whose lines sum to 40 under the Invariant_Forty_Fold_Seal). Stage, Being, and Identity are three orthogonal Latin-square overlays on that grid — the proven maximum for order 4 (n-1 = 3). The per-archetype “process walks” (Seed to Bridge to Fruition to Feedback) are the Stage coordinate animating each family. And the four Agency streams (Where/How/What/Who) are these same four dimensions; every manifest archetype is the confluence where they cross, carrying a unique 4-tuple address — exactly what orthogonality guarantees. One object; many names.
Why It’s Load-Bearing
This is the formal spine the framework’s uniqueness claim hangs on, and several other seams are edges off it. Without it, Stage/Being/Identity look like three lucky partitions rather than the forced maximum of a known structure; the four Agency streams look like a metaphor rather than the literal MOLS dimensions; and the cascade that cuts ~21 trillion arrangements to a single grid loses its backbone. The verified math: the Forty-Fold Seal filters ~21 trillion to 1,920; the three Latin/orthogonality constraints filter 1,920 to 64; symmetry collapses 64 to one grid mod symmetry. The convergence is non-circular because Being was derived independently (from healing-partner / rebalancing geometry, “every step computed, not imposed”) and only afterward found to satisfy the Latin-square property (768 of 1,920 pass it) — a meaning-derived partition coinciding with a math-forced one, not a partition reverse-engineered to fit.
Confidence Tier
DERIVED. Confirmed by adversarial verification 2026-06-30; awaiting Council ratification. The verifier recomputed the load-bearing math independently: the Seal holds (all rows, columns, and 16 toroidal 2x2 blocks sum to 40); Stage, Being, and Identity are each genuine Latin squares; all three pairs are mutually orthogonal (16/16 distinct ordered pairs each) — a true 3-MOLS, the proven maximum for order 4, exactly AG(2,4). One sub-claim is held at candidate tier: the precise orbit-count arithmetic in the symmetry collapse (the 64-element orbit versus the full symmetry closure, which other notes count at 128 elements) is recommended for Council ratification before being treated as locked. The seam itself does not depend on that arithmetic and is not held at candidate tier.
