Enumeration: Descent and Ascent
Definition
Counting by +1 and the stage-cycle are two interwoven threads, and tracing the +1 thread reveals a definite shape. The descent (positions 0 through 9) traverses only the potential halves of every house — Seed, Bridge, Seed, Bridge, descending Gestalt to Spirit to Mind to Emotion to Body. Source (position 10, the Wheel) is the threshold where potential becomes manifest. The ascent (positions 11 through 20) traverses only the manifest halves — Fruition, Feedback, Fruition, Feedback, ascending Body to Emotion to Mind to Spirit to Gestalt, the exact reverse of the descent: a palindrome of houses around Source. This is the canonical Horizon (W-axis) made visible by the count: enumeration is the W-axis traversed — down through Potential, across at Source, up through Manifest. Every house’s process is split across Source: it seeds and develops in potential, passes through Source, then fruits and integrates in manifestation.
Why It is Load-Bearing
This converts the sequential read of the architecture from labeling into walking, and gives that walk a derived shape. (1) It generalizes the 20’s split output: the divergence Chris first saw at the Gestalt Feedback (20 splitting to 0/the Fool and 21/Creation) is shown to live at every Bridge and every Feedback — the positions where the global +1 walk diverges from the local house-loop. Each house has two split points. (2) It supplies the structural justification for V10’s sequential ordering: reading the book in order walks potential down through the houses, touches Source, and rises through manifestation — the Forge ritual the structure was always performing. (3) It hands V10 a transmission-grade image: you seed and develop every part of yourself in potential, pass through Source, and fruit and complete it in the manifest world; Source is where what-could-be becomes what-is. Without the +1 increment generating sequential succession there is no descent/ascent at all — only a static grid.

PROPOSED. The underlying enumeration facts are DERIVED and confirmed position-by-position against canon: the node/arc/stage emission rules and the descent/ascent breath are Codex B1, the Horizon W-axis is A1/B1, and 21 to 0 is V9 Ch 9/11. What is PROPOSED is the synthesis layer: “Source is the threshold where potential becomes manifest,” the “two interwoven threads that split at Bridge/Feedback” framing, and the generalization of the 20’s split to every house. These are clean, newly foregrounded readings — confirmed position-by-position but not previously stated as a principle. Per the source, the coincide-inside-pairs / split-at-boundaries pattern is not a separate open problem: it is forced by two canon facts (each house occupies a consecutive number-pair on the descent, and the Mobius reflection n to 20 minus n preserves adjacency). The genuinely open item is the original enumeration question — what the +1 increment itself is. This derivation is marked “Awaiting Council” by its source; it is awaiting Council ratification.
